Delightful short sleeved dress in cream colored stiff cotton with delicate drawings of wild roses. There is a belt of the same fabric and an invisible zipper on the side. The gathering at the waist, the slight pleats of the skirt and the seams on the breast tell the story of the sartorial mastery of the era thanks to a command of the technique which has become rare. Six buttons (including a fake one!) adorn the chest. The dress perfectly embodies the spirit of the 50s, unabashedly feminine, blatantly naive but at the same time extremely conscious. To be worn on spring afternoons. There is a slight discoloration on the chest and along the neck line.
